Our Annual General Meeting was held on Monday, June 10 at the PRCC. Reports from the Executive Director, Facility Maintenance Manager, Operations and Finance Manager and Program and Events Manager were presented. Our Treasurer provided a financial review of the 2018/19 fiscal year, and our Board Elections were held. We welcome new Board Member Bill Aasvangen to the table, and all of our current board members were re-elected as well. - Al Goodyer, Chair

The Board will take a short break over the summer, possibly convening subcommittee meetings to review transit updates if news of our feasibility grant is approved and action required, and to discuss possible fundraising strategies. As well, work on the Goodwood Beautification project will continue.
We have reached the end of the current strategic plan for the board, and our focus beginning in September will be in redrafting a new five-year plan. We will work in conjunction with community development staff from HRM to achieve this goal.
