The Resource Opportunities Centre (ROC) is a not-for-profit community development organization which serves the communities along Route 333 from Goodwood to West Dover. We work in partnership with local grassroots organizations and HRM to share information, undertake projects, and deliver programs and services in response to community needs.
The ROC started as a C@P site in 1998, and in 2010 we became the volunteer management board for the newly-built Prospect Road Community Centre, a beautiful LEED-Silver facility that has become a bustling hub for the community. It’s the ROC’s mission to promote community development and sustainability through the delivery of diverse recreational, educational, cultural, social and technology-related opportunities.
